October Fun!

October has been full of fun in Pre-K!  Come see what we've been up to.......

We started off the month with our birthday girl, Lily, turning 4! Happy Birthday Lily!

Jackson enjoys playing with moon dough!

Sarah, Forester, Jackson, and Boyd enjoy playing a matching game on the computer.

Burke has fun role playing "5 Little Monkeys" on the felt board.

Here we geaux tigers, here we geaux!  In honor of our undefeated LSU tigers, we set our drama center up to be a tailgating spot!  Bowen and the girls had fun cheering on the tigers!!!

October also brought the Blessing of the Animals to Trinity!  We had such a fun afternoon.
Allison's grandparents came with a picture of "Squirt" to be blessed.

Caroline was so excited to have a picture of her and her sister with their doggie.

Burke's mom and dad brought his 2 dogs, a little one and big one!

Lily and Mrs. Jones get their new puppy, Rosie, blessed.

Father Tim blessing Burke's dog.

Sophia paints a fall leaf...

Sarah makes a headband.
Marshall and Burke make a pattern on their fall leaf headband.

Caroline gets a shampoo from Marshall and Bowen!

Sophia sorts fall leaves.

We love to read in Pre-K 3!  The whole school participates in silent DEAR reading time at 2:45 each day. (Drop Everything And Read)  We always enjoy hearing a book read to us, but some days we like to choose a book and "read" silently on the carpet at the end of the day too.

What a Ball!

We are having a BALL in Pre-K 3!!  Thank you for sending in a ball last week.  We have a great collection going and the students are really enjoying our unit.  It has been fun sorting our ball collection by size.  During center time we got to roll the balls through a tunnel towards a friend and catch the ball when it came back to us.  In art, we painted with marbles in a box.  Balls are fun to play with, but they can also help us do different things!

It was a special treat to have Mrs. Krista's husband, Kevin Dempsey, come teach us about soccer on Friday!  He is one of the LSU ladies' soccer coaches!  First we had to listen to instructions....

He wanted us to put the ball on our head...

Stop the ball with our feet,

stop the ball with our chin and our elbow,

our back side,

 and our head!

Then we all got to kick the soccer ball into the goal!

Thank you Coach Kevin!  We had a ball when you visited us!  Please come back soon!!
