HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS

During the couple of weeks that we had together in December, we tried to focus on the real meaning of Christmas.  In our drama center, the children were able to dress up like Mary and Joseph.  They had such a fun time doing this!  Our first couple, Catherine and Pearce, especially loved this center and many times brought baby Jesus milk and cookies from our kitchen set.  :)
I wanted to share some precious pictures with you and come together today to wish Jesus a  happy birthday!!!  I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas!!

I love this picture because Mary was feeling shy, while Joseph was winking at us!! :)

Christmas is coming!

December has been a very busy and fun month.  We started off by celebrating Mrs. Krista and Mrs. Brooke's birthdays!
Then one afternoon at nap time, we were told to put one of our shoes out in the hallway.  When we woke up, we found that St. Nicholas had visited and left us candy canes in our shoes!  It was very exciting!
Then it was on to decorating the room and writing letters to Santa.  There is a special Santa mailbox in the activities building that delivers mail straight to the North Pole.  We decorated our envelopes and put a sticker stamp in the corner.  Then we all went to mail our letters!  Santa.....We've been very good this year!  Please come visit us soon!  :)

Can We Build It??

YES WE CAN!!!
We had a great time with our buildings unit!  The boys and girls loved playing construction site in the classroom.  We had architects, brick layers, painters, carpenters, and even Bob the Builder made an appearance! :)  Please take a look around at all the fun we had......
