We got spirit, how bout you??!!

Last week was a TON of fun!  We had a great time participating in the $1.00 dress days to help the 5th grade class earn money for their end of the year trip.  We had team day, pajama day, crazy day, and favorite character day.  Hope you enjoy the pictures from our fun and crazy week!!!

This picture was taken on "Crazy Day."  It really proved to be crazy when we had to all sit in the 

hallway for 45 minutes during a tornado warning.  Luckily our 5th grade buddies brought along their ipads and some books!  We all did a great job sitting still and quietly!

We had fun learning how to play Balloon Lagoon!

We loved getting to meet Mila, the cute little puppy who was auctioned off at our Gala!

And The Winner Is.....

April has been a special month for Edward!  We celebrated his 4th birthday when we came back from spring break.  

And when it came time for us to draw the quilt               raffle ticket.....

Edward was the very lucky winner!!!!

Let's Learn About Trees!

For the last two weeks, we have been investigating trees.  It is fun to learn more about a topic that we already know some about!  We know that trees are alive, they are homes to many animals, they give us food to eat, and they need food and water to grow, just like us!  Come see what we've been up to.....

Be sure to go on a "tree walk" around your neighborhood and talk about the trees you see with your child.  You'll be surprised....they may teach you a thing or two!!!  :)

Our Beautiful Quilt

You can't even imagine how darling our class quilt is this year!!!  You are going to WANT it !!!!

A HUGE "thank you" goes to Jenny Hall (Catherine's mom) and her sweet mother, Claire Lassalle, for sewing this beautiful treasure.  What an amazing labor of love!!!  Thank you SOOOOO much!!!

Each child's handprint shows a special season/memory from our Pre K 3 class.  It changes a little from year to year.  This time we had to add Edward's favorite character, "The Big Green Monster," and Sloan's green witch face from Halloween!  

The quilt raffle tickets are on sale now in the office.  The whole school will attend the "drawing" next Friday afternoon, April 19th.  

So send in your ticket orders and GOOD LUCK in the drawing!!!!! (I really want to keep it for myself!!) :)
