January has been a busy month in Pre K 3. We have had fun making mittens with fabric squares, playing "Don't Break the Ice!", making fun shapes and snowmen with sparkly snow play dough, hibernating in our bear cave, writing our names, and bundling up to play outside in this cold weather! We also had fun celebrating Elizabeth's New Year's Day birthday! Happy birthday Elizabeth!

Teddy Bear Picnic
We had fun at our Teddy Bear Picnic! We tasted 3 types of teddy grahams and thought that strawberry was our overall favorite. It was fun feeding our bears the snack too!
We have learned about bears hibernating in the winter months and even got to climb into a cave that Mrs. Erin made for us. Hope you stay warm, hibernating on these snow days, and enjoy our pictures!

A Merry Little Christmas
We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas in Pre K 3. The boys and girls did a great job singing some carols at morning meeting. We were very proud of them for doing such a great job!
In our classroom, some friends enjoyed dressing up as the characters in the nativity scene. We read the Christmas story many times and it was precious to see them act it out.
We also enjoyed having some fun Christmas centers, one day before we got out for the holidays. We decorated and ate gingerbread cookies and played "Pin the Nose on Rudolf!"
I hope and pray that everyone had a wonderful holiday. We are excited for a brand new year in Pre K 3. Happy New Year!!
