Grandparents' Day!

We had a wonderful morning with our grandparents!  (and some great grandparents!)  We sang our song in the church and then headed back to our classroom to eat some king cake and to prepare for our very special visitors.  We had fun showing them around the classroom and singing them some of our favorite Pre K 3 songs.  We hope you come back and visit us again real soon!  Happy Mardi Gras everyone!!!

Pre K Playground Groundbreaking Ceremony

We had a great time at the groundbreaking ceremony for our new playground!  Eli got to represent our class and break the ground!  It was such an exciting day and we can't wait to see our new playground.

We had an awesome time at the Pre K 4 Mardi Gras parade!  It was fun to see what we'll be participating in next year!

BE MINE!!!

We had such a fun time celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday!  All of our friends enjoyed passing out valentines to their classmates.  There were lots of hugs on the carpet as valentines were dropped into each bag!  

At our writing center last week each child got to choose a special person to make a valentine for.   We had friends choose parents, siblings, cousins, and classmates.  They worked hard to decorate a pretty card with doilies and stickers.  Then they stamped the person's name on the envelope, licked and sealed it, and went to "mail" it in our special valentine mailbox.  They thought this was really fun and found so much joy in making something special for someone else.  :)  Hope you will enjoy our pictures!
