Dressing Up in January!

We have gotten off to a great start in January!  It's been a fun month with a lot of activity.  We have celebrated two birthdays.  Happy birthday to Marshall and Caroline!
Our new Creative Curriculum unit has been "clothing." We have been learning about different types of clothes and why we wear them.   In cold weather you have to bundle up to stay warm.....in warm weather you have to dress lightly to stay cool.  Some people have to wear a uniform when they work and others don't.  The children have had fun dressing up in our clothes collection from home.  It has been a lot of fun!
We have also continued to work on our fine motor skills to strengthen our pre-writing hand muscles.  We have enjoyed cutting scrap paper in our sensory table, learning how to weave, playing with buttons in play dough, and discovering our touch sense on a sticky table top with manipulatives.
Come check out all of the fun. . . . . .
